Wendi Rothstein, LCSW Wendi Rothstein, LCSW

Having graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology, and then completing a Master of Social Work degree from Hunter College School of Social Work, I bring a psychodynamic theoretical orientation to my private practice.

I have been providing counseling and psychotherapy services to clients since 1986 in both New York City and New Jersey. Since this time I have been serving child, adolescent and adult populations in individual, couple, group and family treatment modalities. My private practice is general in nature, comprised of treating a wide range of mental health issues including but not limited to: grief, depression, anxiety and relationship issues. I have particular expertise in treating substance abuse related concerns as well as working with those who are effected by a history of emotional, physical and sexual abuse.

In conjunction with providing direct clinical psychotherapy, I also offer seminars and webcasts on a variety of mental health and wellness related topics to organizations and companies. Additionally, I am affiliated with numerous local and national Employee Assistance Programs where I provide short term counseling on and off site for corporations, as well as attending to Critical Incident Stress Debriefings on an as needed basis.

Referrals to my practice include both self referrals and formal referrals. I am an in-network provider for most major insurance companies.

I welcome you to my private practice.
